Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick “Scarlett O’Hara Red” | @FirstBlushBB Review
In my February Lip Monthly subscription bag I received a dark red lip crayon. I have not really been into the matte lip colors because of the way they look on lips. Apparently I have not been using the right shades but Sugar has changed my mind about matte lip colors. This deep red looks great on my lips and doesn’t make my lips appear to be overly dry. It is always a tasks to make sure my lips stay moisturized while wearing dark matte colors like this one. The Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick called “Poison Ivy" is a fabulous lip crayon that glides on easily and not like some crayons that usually take a couple of tries to achieve maximum coverage. Poison Ivy is a part of Sugars “Matte as Hell Crayon Lipstick” collection of 4 colors. Currently retails for $16.99 and comes with a sharpener. This product however, did not come with a sharpener in my lip monthly but if you purchase online you do get that added bonus. It comes in the following colors: Scarlet O’Hara, Mary Poppins, Poison Ivy, and Holly Golightly. Matte As Hell Crayon lipstick box with all four colors including the sharpener is on sale for $49.99 originally $67.96, not a bad at all. They also suggest that before applying any matte or dark lip color to exfoliate your lips. Be on the lookout for my review on lip exfoliates. Sugar also has another lip collection called “It’s A Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick” that comes in four shades and eyeliners. I recently wore this color one Sunday to church and it complimented my outfit very well. It was a great addition to make my outfit pop and take my look to a whole different level. Don’t ever underestimate the power of a bold lip color!
